POSITION SUMMARY
Prizmah seeks a strategic, results-driven leader to head our School Advancement team. This individual will lead efforts to support Jewish day schools in addressing key areas such as affordability initiatives, building endowments, and enrollment growth. The ideal candidate will possess experience in one or more of the following areas: development, enrollment growth, endowment strategy. A deep commitment to strengthening Jewish day schools is critical.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the school advancement team and the execution of Prizmah’s strategic initiatives to foster financial growth across the Jewish day school sector.
• Lead a major initiative to support schools and communities in building endowments.
• Advance strategic work to amplify the value proposition of day schools towards a goal of growing day school enrollment.
• Collaborate with external partners, including Jewish Federations and foundations, to launch community-wide advancement efforts.
• Consult and coach school professionals on strategies for school advancement, including community engagement and fundraising.
• Advise boards and school leaders on best practices for student recruitment, retention, and fundraising.
• Collaborate across Prizmah’s departments to integrate school advancement strategies into broader organizational initiatives.
• Analyze data to identify trends, areas of growth needed and to guide the work of the team.
• Support research initiatives and contribute to thought leadership in the area of school advancement.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate for this position will bring:
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating and managing teams.
• Expertise in endowment strategy and school fundraising
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with lay leadership.
• Deep understanding of the Jewish community and the Jewish day school ecosystem.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders clearly and respectfully.
• Ability to design and implement strategic initiatives both at the team and organizational level.
• Technologically proficient, with an ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in school advancement or Jewish communal institutional advancement.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Competitive salary in the non-profit field in the range of $130,000 - $155,000. Prizmah’s salary ranges are based on education, experience, and skill set required for each role. If your salary expectations are different and/or you have more experience than required, let’s talk.
